”It is important to work in a company where you can enjoy yourself and where the actual work doesn’t necessarily feel like work at all.”
Maria Hirvonen, Sales and Project Manager
“I started as Sales and Project Manager at Innofactor in September 2008. Before that, I had been working in a similar job for another company since my graduation from the Helsinki School of Economics.
At Innofactor, I have been particularly fascinated by the diversity of the job description. It is great when I can participate throughout the whole customer process: sales, delivery and continuous customer service.
As a mother to a small child, I consider it very important that the employer understands my life situation. Sometimes a child is sick and that leaves me no other choice than to stay at home. Fortunately Innofactor offers good opportunities for remote working.
In my work, I appreciate the level of proficiency involved and my colleagues. It is important to work in a company where you can enjoy yourself and where the actual work doesn’t necessarily feel like work at all.”
Mikko Lampi, Vice President
“I started working at Innofactor in 2001 as a part-time software developer. At the same time, I was studying at the Helsinki University of Technology. After graduating as a Master of Science, I was appointed as a team leader in software development, and later I was put in charge of the entire software development department. Currently, I work in software development as Senior Vice President and Executive Board Member.
At Innofactor, I am especially inspired by the fact that I get to do clever stuff with smart people. We have a great group of people here, and everyone is a joy to work with. Innofactor also offers its employees a vantage point to how Internet technologies evolve especially in relation to Microsoft’s development environments.“
Miska Makkonen, Software Developer
“I started working at Innofactor in May 2007. Before that, I had been studying information technology at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences for two years with good grades, and I really wanted to make use of what I had learned in my studies.
Innofactor has offered me an opportunity to quickly learn the ropes and become an excellent software developer. I have worked in several projects, and concurrently I’ve learned the programming secrets of Innofactor’s core product, INNOFACTOR® Prime™. I did my thesis for Innofactor and graduated as Bachelor of Business Administration in 2008.
My main motivation for working at Innofactor comes from the diversity of the job description, the excellent development opportunities and the possibility to adapt my professional development to my own interests.
Furthermore, Innofactor boasts an exceptionally supportive and open atmosphere. Things that I consider most important here are all the highly skilled and friendly people I work with, the motivation we all feel towards our work, and a shared belief in the future both for ourselves and for this company.”
