Innofactor Plc News January 20, 2026, at 9:00 Finnish time

Innofactor has successfully completed its external audits conducted between November 3–14, 2025. The audits focused on quality, information security, and environmental aspects across multiple projects and offices in Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.

Following external audits, ISO 14001:2015 certification was granted to Innofactor for the first time. The environmental management system is now fully integrated into Innofactor's quality management system. No nonconformities were identified during the audit, and the development work and goal setting were found to be comprehensive.

The audits were carried out by Kiwa and in addition to ISO 14001:2015 they covered all of our management systems: ISO 9001:2015, ISO/IEC 27001:2022, ISO 13485:2016 and AQAP-2110.

The new ISO 14001 certification, along with Innofactor's other certifications, is available on our website under the Quality Promise and Certifications section. These achievements highlight our commitment to quality, information security, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement.

No major nonconformities were found during the audit, and all systems meet international standards following the correction of minor issues. All improvement suggestions will be taken into account as part of our ongoing development efforts.

The ISO 14001 certification supports the group's long-term environmental, climate, and sustainability efforts. These efforts are also guided by our near-term science-based emissions reduction targets.

Innofactor commits to emissions reductions in line with climate science

The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)
has approved Innofactor's near-term science-based emissions reduction targets in November 2025.

Innofactor's near-term climate targets are as follows:

  • Innofactor commits to reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 63.64% by 2030 from a 2023 base year. *
  • Innofactor commits to reduce absolute scope 3 GHG emissions 25.0% by 2030 from a 2024 base year.

*The target boundary includes land-related emissions and removals from biogenic feedstocks.

Targets set under the Science Based Targets initiative ensure that Innofactor's emissions reductions are based on up-to-date, scientifically verified data and support the Paris Agreement goal of limiting global warming to no more than 1.5 degrees Celsius.

The Science Based Targets initiative is a corporate climate action organization that enables companies and financial institutions worldwide to play their part in combating the climate crisis.

The targets of companies participating in the initiative can be found on the SBTi website. Companies report their progress toward these targets to the SBTi.
