Similarly, the solutions for Enterprise Resource Planning and group work, for example, can be applied to the needs that arise in parishes.
See below for solutions that are especially tailored to meet the needs of parishes and churches. Due to their shared implementation technology, the individual solutions can be combined with ease.
Member registry
Innofactor offers comprehensive and modern member registry solutions that allow effortless management of member data. Software development has been focused on ease of use as well as versatile search and reporting functions.
The solution includes the following features:
-
Member registry: parish member data in a consolidated form. User rights for the registry are limited and the information included is kept safe in a secured database.
-
Church ceremonies: a tool for entering information on church ceremonies, such as baptisms and marriages. The information is also passed on to the population register.
-
Church announcements: various church announcements can be compiled into lists to be read at church events and transferred electronically to an online environment or print publication.
-
Extracts from the population register: register extracts can be printed out for various purposes. Customers can order extracts from the population register for the most common purposes online and pay for them through their online bank.
-
Print-outs, statistics and reports: the reporting tools can be used to print out family history for genealogical purposes, for example, or to gather statistics on events organized by the parish.
-
Interface to the population register: the software provides a two-way interface to the population register and the joint Church Council database.
-
Reference comparisons: reference comparisons can be performed to compare information from the parish and the population register, and to make any necessary corrections.
-
Youth work
The youth work solution contains a youth work customer registry as well as an extranet site and group management tools that can be made available to the youth themselves. The software enables centralized emailing and text messaging as well as the management of event attendance information.
The youth can also view and edit their own contact information and register to events through the extranet service.
Confirmation classes
The confirmation class solution enables the processing of all issues related to the different stages of confirmation classes. The participant data is easily accessible in the member registry, and it is possible to send messages to the participants or allow for online registration.
The software places the participants in different confirmation classes according to their wishes and also enables communication, invoicing, printing out various forms and confirmation certificates, and importing payment data into the member registry.
Church social work
The church social work solution enables customer data maintenance, aid processing, appropriation management and print-outs. Furthermore, the solution can be supplemented with work planning, arrangements for camps, trips and group activities, as well as with customer communication features.
The solution allows social workers to manage customer registers, customer meetings, assessments of customers’ financial situations, and aids to be granted. An archive of consents and authorizations is also maintained in the software.
Furthermore, the software automatically assembles Church Council statistics.
Voluntary work
The voluntary work solution allows parishes to maintain a registry on volunteers and aid recipients. The software allows the customer to publish various tasks online, and the volunteers can then choose and reserve the ones suited to their preferences and abilities.
User-specific usernames and passwords can be created for the volunteers to enable registering for the tasks. It is also possible to send multichannel communications through the software.
Burial service and maps
The burial service solution offers modern methods for handling the traditional duties included in burial services. These include, for example, bidding and invoicing procedures, grave administration, crematorium operations and communications with the bereaved.
The software allows parishes and parish unions to manage the statutory burial record. The solution also offers a browser-based burial map that requires no software installations.
