Innofactor Plc Stock Exchange Release February 15, 2019, at 14:25 Finnish time

The Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom has selected Innofactor as the provider of further development and maintenance of the digital services channel (VISA) and its architecture. The term of the contract is planned to start in spring 2019 and to continue until further notice after the fixed term of one year has ended. The estimated contract term is 5–7 years and the estimated total value (excluding VAT) stated by the customer in the procurement decision is EUR 5 million.

The VISA platform is a service and application platform as well as a service channel enabling integrations and containing communications features. The VISA platform operates as an application platform for applications of various fields of business and enables internal integrations to background systems and external integrations to common services of interest groups and state administration (for example, the Suomi.fi services). The VISA platform also includes its own strong authentication for interest groups abroad.

"For several years, Innofactor has been a partner in maintaining and developing the digital services platform of the Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority, currently part of Traficom. It is great that this decision will continue the cooperation that has gone so well. The deal further strengthens Innofactor's position as a significant provider of secure digital services in Finland," says Innofactor's CEO Sami Ensio.

The Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority was combined with the Finnish Transport Safety Agency Trafi as the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom as of January 1, 2019. Traficom is an authority in permit, license, registration, approval, safety and security matters for traffic and communications. The authority promotes the functionality and safety of traffic and expedites the development of a digital society. It supports sustainable development and makes sure that high quality, safe and reasonably priced communications connections and services are available in Finland. The authority has approximately 900 employees in 15 locations. The head office is located in Helsinki.

The decision will be legally valid after the appeal period defined in the Procurement Act has passed.
