Innofactor Plc Press release 29th of October, 2026, 9:00 Finnish time
Aalto University has selected Innofactor Platforms to continue as the provider of development services for the university’s centralized data warehouse. The cooperation, which began already in 2013, will continue following a new competitive tendering process.
Aalto University’s centralized data warehouse brings together key data from across the university to support reporting, analytics, and decision-making. The solution also supports regulatory reporting and enables data-driven management across the university’s operations.
The cooperation aims to ensure the continuous development, maintenance, and smooth operation of the data warehouse while responding to the growing needs for utilizing data. A Data Architect from Innofactor Platforms works as part of the university’s own data warehouse team.
"Over the years, we have gained a strong understanding of the customer’s operating environment and needs. This helps us develop solutions that support both day-to-day operations and long-term objectives," says Innofactor Platforms’ Data Architect.
The development work covers areas such as data modeling, the design and implementation of data warehouse solutions, integrations, and the continuous development of analytics and reporting solutions.
"We are pleased to continue our cooperation with Aalto University. Our long-standing cooperation is built on mutual trust and a strong understanding of the university’s operations and its evolving data needs," says Sami Ensio, Founder and CEO of Innofactor.
The estimated total value of the framework agreement is approximately EUR 1 million, excluding VAT.
At Aalto University, science and art meet technology and business. Founded in 2010, Aalto University has a community of 16,000 students and 5,200 employees. The university’s campus is located in Espoo, Finland.
