Running dbt on Microsoft Fabric: From Development to Orchestration
In this practical session, Carl Räihä from Innofactor explores how dbt workloads can be developed, executed and orchestrated with Microsoft Fabric.
The session covers different execution options, including dbt Cloud, Fabric dbt Job, notebook-based execution and Databricks. Carl Räihä will also demonstrate how to update and execute a model, orchestrate it from a Fabric Pipeline, and review logs, lineage and results.
The session concludes with recommendations for selecting the right execution and orchestration approach.
