Microsoft Project Online is retiring – get ready for the change!
Microsoft Project Online will officially be retired on September 30, 2026, and the sale of new Project Online licenses will end on October 1, 2025. This change does not affect Project desktop, Project Server, or Planner.
The retirement is driven by the fact that Project Online's legacy architecture limits Microsoft's ability to deliver new features, AI capabilities, and deep integration within the Microsoft 365 environment.
If your organization is currently using Project Online, now is the time to act — evaluate your options, back up your data, and plan the transition strategically to avoid disruption to workflows and access to critical information.
We offer organizations using Microsoft Project Online a free assessment of your alternatives, including proof-of-concept testing. Don't miss this opportunity!
